Unduly Lenient Sentences (Right of Appeal) Bill

This bill would allow prosecutors to appeal to a higher court when they believe a criminal sentence given by a judge is too lenient. Currently, prosecutors generally cannot appeal sentences they think are too soft, even if they disagree with the judge's decision. The bill aims to create a check on very soft sentences.
