Education (Non-religious Philosophical Convictions) Bill [HL]

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill aims to change education law so that students' nonreligious philosophical beliefs (such as humanism, atheism, or secular worldviews) receive the same legal recognition and protection that religious beliefs currently have in schools. Currently, the law mainly focuses on protecting religious convictions, so this bill would extend those same safeguards to nonreligious students.

Presented by Baroness Burt of Solihull.
