Elections (Voter Identification Requirements) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill would require people to prove who they are by showing identification before they can vote in UK elections. Currently, voters don't need to show ID they just give their name and address. The bill would change this rule, though the exact type of ID accepted hasn't been fully detailed yet since it's still at an early stage.

Presented by Helen Morgan.
