Employment and Trade Union Rights (Dismissal and Re-engagement) Bill [HL]

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill aims to protect workers from being unfairly dismissed and then rehired on worse terms. It targets a practice where employers fire workers (especially union members) and offer them their job back with lower pay or worse conditions, forcing workers to accept or lose their job. The bill would make this tactic illegal or more difficult.

Presented by Lord Woodley.
