European Union Membership (Referendum) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill would require the UK government to hold a referendum asking British voters whether they want to remain members of the European Union or leave it. It's about letting the public decide directly on this major question, rather than leaving it entirely to MPs to decide.

Presented by Mr Douglas Carswell.
