European Union Withdrawal (Implementation Period) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill sets up a transition (or 'implementation') period after Brexit where the UK temporarily keeps following EU rules and laws while both sides negotiate what their relationship will be like in the future. Think of it as a bridge period rather than an immediate cliffedge change, giving businesses and government time to prepare for the new arrangements.
Presented by Sir Edward Davey.
