Free School Meals (Automatic Registration of Eligible Children) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill would change how free school meals are given to eligible children. Instead of parents having to register their children and fill in forms, the government would automatically enrol children who qualify based on their family's income or benefits. The goal is to make sure no eligible child misses out on free meals simply because their parents forgot to apply.

Presented by Frank Field.
