House of Lords (Peerage Nominations) Bill [HL]

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill would change the way new members of the House of Lords are chosen. Instead of the Prime Minister alone deciding who gets a peerage, the bill would likely allow MPs, the public, or other groups to nominate candidates for the position.

Presented by Lord Norton of Louth.
