Independent Adviser on Ministers’ Interests (Appointment by Parliament) Bill

This bill would change who gets to pick the Independent Adviser on Ministers' Interests the person who checks whether government ministers are following the rules about conflicts of interest. Instead of the Prime Minister choosing them, Parliament would make the choice instead.
