Joint Enterprise (Significant Contribution) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill changes how the law handles situations where a group of people are involved in a crime together. Currently, someone can be convicted even if they didn't directly commit the act. The bill would require prosecutors to prove the person made a meaningful, significant contribution to the crime before they can be found guilty.

Presented by Kim Johnson.
