[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill proposes creating a new government ministry dedicated entirely to preventing poverty. Rather than poverty being handled by several different government departments, this would establish a single focused ministry with its own minister to develop and coordinate policies aimed at stopping poverty before it starts and supporting people in financial difficulty.

Presented by Lord Bird.
