Packaging (Extended Producer Responsibility) Bill

This bill makes packaging manufacturers and retailers take responsibility for managing the packaging waste their products create. Instead of just making the packaging, companies would have to help pay for collecting, sorting, and recycling it, encouraging them to use less packaging and design it to be easier to recycle.
