Pensions (Review of Women’s Arrangements) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill requires the government to conduct a comprehensive review of pension arrangements affecting women, particularly those impacted by the State Pension age equalisation between men and women (which increased women's retirement age from 60 to 68). The review would examine whether women born in the 1950s experienced unfair treatment due to insufficient notice of these changes, and would consider potential compensation or policy adjustments. The bill aims to address concerns that many women were not given adequate time to plan for a later retirement.

Presented by Mr Peter Bone.
