Referendums (Supermajority) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill would change the rules for referendums in the UK by requiring a higher percentage of votes to pass major decisions, rather than just winning by 50%+1. It means future referendums on big national questions would need something like 60% or twothirds agreement instead of a simple majority.

Presented by Ian Paisley.
