Universal Credit Sanctions (Zero Hours Contracts) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill aims to stop the government from punishing zero hours contract workers by cutting their Universal Credit benefits when they don't hit work targets. Since zero hours contracts don't guarantee any hours of work, supporters argue sanctions are unfair on workers who simply don't have shifts available to work.
