Chalk Streams (Protection) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill aims to create stronger legal protections for chalk streams, which are rare freshwater rivers found mainly in southern England. Chalk streams support unique plants and animals, but many have been damaged by pollution, water extraction, and development. The bill would introduce new rules to prevent further damage and help restore these important natural habitats.
