Abortion (Cleft Lip, Cleft Palate and Clubfoot) Bill

This bill would allow women to have an abortion at any stage of pregnancy if doctors confirm the fetus has cleft lip, cleft palate, or clubfoot. Currently, abortion is generally only allowed up to 24 weeks of pregnancy, except in certain medical circumstances. The bill would create an exception for these three specific physical conditions.
