Construction Industry (Protection of Cash Retentions) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill aims to stop construction companies from holding onto money (called 'retentions') that belongs to their workers and suppliers. Currently, some firms keep this cash as a safety net, but the bill would force them to release and pay out this money properly, protecting smaller companies and workers from financial hardship.

Presented by Alan Brown.
