Foreign Secretary’s Eid message
Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond sends his best wishes to Muslims celebrating Eid.
Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said:
I would like to send my best wishes to Muslims and their families around the world who are today celebrating Eid. The Foreign Office has offered consular support to nearly 18,000 British Muslims performing the Hajj pilgrimage this year. Many of them will soon be returning to celebrate this Eid al-Adha with their loved ones. To Muslims across the United Kingdom, and the world, I wish a very blessed Eid al-Adha.
