The procurement has been undertaken as per UK4 Tender notice identifier: 2026/S 000-066931 (000-066931); Procurement identifier (OCID): ocds-h6vhtk-05225c. ESPO is a public sector-owned professional buying organisation offering a comprehensive range of procurement services, including access to over 100 free-to-access framework solutions for the wider public sector. We are establishing a framework for the supply of liquid fuels, notably automotive fuels and heating oil. Recognising the geographical nature of this market, ESPO has structured the framework into multiple Lots using NUTS (Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics) codes to define regional groupings across the United Kingdom. A total of 54 Lots are awarded based on these geographic regions. Customers will typically take delivery into their own bulk tanks however; the framework also includes a provision to offer Fuel Bunkering to support any customer seeking to purchase bulk fuel for their fuel card arrangements. To ensure transparency and alignment with market conditions, the pricing of liquid fuels supplied under this framework will be referenced against the relevant Platts Oil Price Index (Platts), typically on a weekly lagged basis. HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil), Biodiesel and similar renewable and alternative fuels are included within the scope of this Framework to support emerging customer needs across the public sector.

    description
The Future Medicines Institute (FMI) requires a high throughput live-cell imaging system to enable FMI scientists and collaborators to monitor live cell imaging in real time under optimal conditions of cell growth in a properly maintained carbon dioxide and humidity environment to enable the efficient capture of cellular changes as they happen in the incubator. The objective of procuring a live cell imaging system is to enhance FMI’s capacity to monitor cells in real time, in an optimally controlled environment, to support and strengthen its drug discovery capabilities. The proposed system must: • Be capable of multiplate/vessel imaging, up to a capacity of 6 plates/vessels and including capacity to image 6 384 well plates, to meet the volume of analysis that the centre is undertaking and support high throughput drug screening projects. • Enable high resolution fluorescence and bright field images to be captured and recorded in real time over hours, days, or weeks. • Offer flexibility to enable users to observe and quantify complex biological changes over time in cells and 3d structures such as spheroids and organoid models. • Include a fully integrated image acquisition system to capture real-time insight into morphological and phenotypic changes and allow multiple users the opportunity to perform complex cellular assays. • Offer versatile assay configurations, supporting various experimental formats such as 2d cell systems and 3d spheroid, and organoid models. The procurement of this live cell imaging system directly supports FMI’s broader goals of: • Accelerating drug discovery through rapid identification and characterisation of therapeutic candidates • Providing screening capabilities in high-throughput format • Facilitating translational research by bridging fundamental cellular studies with therapeutic applications. The procurement of a live cell imaging system will provide direct benefit to research scientists within FMI, and wider stakeholders such as partner organisations and the wider academic community in Queens University Belfast (QUB) by: • Significantly enhance its cellular screening capabilities. • Enhancing live cell imaging capabilities and data acquisition throughput in optimised cellular conditions. • Reducing time in setting up multiple vessels for multiple time point experiments. • Reducing plasticware consumables and expensive reagents currently used in setting up multiple time point experiments. If funding becomes available to address future expansion needs the University reserves the right to purchase additional Live-Cell Imaging Systems during the life of the contract. Subject to the availability of funding, the University may optionally purchase additional Live Cell Imaging Systems during the term of the contract. Any such additional purchases shall be non guaranteed, limited to the optional items and maximum quantities and/or values set out in the Pricing Schedule, and shall have been included in the estimated contract value for the purposes of this procurement.

HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil), Biodiesel and similar renewable and alternative fuels are included within the scope of this Framework to support emerging customer needs across the public sector.

    description
Somerset Council (the Council) has been awarded funding from the Department for Education (DfE) to deliver a Tailored Learning programme (formally known as Community Learning) across Somerset. The Tailored Learning programme will support our adult residents (19+) to develop skills, confidence, motivation and resilience to: • progress towards formal learning or employment • improve their health and well-being, including mental health • develop stronger communities • help parents to strengthen their children's educational success The aim of the programme is to widen participation in learning across our communities, especially among groups that are hardest to reach. This involves not only removing barriers to learning but also actively promoting the benefits of learning and encouraging participation. Increasing access to learning will create opportunities for success and progression for a much broader cross section of residents, positively impacting the social, financial and health circumstances of many people in Somerset. Our intentions and priorities for the programme are set out later in this document. Locally based Community Learning supports residents to develop wider outcomes for their personal lives which, in turn, positively influences their communities, local businesses and the wider local economy.

Oriel is a joint initiative between Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology, and Moorfields Eye Charity. Together, all services at Moorfields Eye Hospital on City Road and the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology on Bath Street, will be relocated to a new, integrated centre in Camden. This move is a transformative opportunity to create a world-leading centre for eye care, research, and education. Harnessing clinical care and research expertise under one roof in a new fit-for-purpose centre will enable closer collaboration between clinicians and researchers to speed up the delivery of treatments and therapies for patients. The centre will deliver the highest-quality clinical care, research and education in an environment that promotes innovation. As a new development, Oriel requires the provider of a comprehensive Hard Services Facilities Management (FM) solution to make the building fully operational. This service will encompass all engineering hard services related to the building's infrastructure, including: - Planned preventive maintenance - Reactive repairs - Project works - Statutory compliance activities This scope covers the building infrastructure only and excludes any hospital operational or clinical equipment used directly in patient care.

    description
For the spending review period (FY 26/27 to FY 29/30) £66 million has been allocated to the DSIT-led National Materials Innovation programme (hereafter referred to as NMIP or the Programme). UKRI is delivering £59m of the overall programme through the UKRI Materials Innovation Programme (hereafter referred to as UKRI MIP), with DSIT directly delivering the remaining £7m. The Programme aims to tackle fragmentation across disciplines and sectors, accelerating the domestic translation of critical material innovations into applications which are vital for the future of Advanced Manufacturing, while also underscoring Energy, Digital Technologies, Defence and Life Sciences Industries. Pioneering a national approach to the sector, the programme will establish networks to bring together stakeholders, streamline infrastructure access, and unlock maximal value from existing investments. The programme will tackle materials-specific commercialisation challenges through new initiatives such as targeted programmes of interventions, digital tools, and verification services. Additional activities will address market gaps in strategic materials, strengthening the UK’s sovereign capabilities to mitigate security risks and capitalise on economic opportunities. Without this focus, key innovations risk stalling before reaching the application areas that underpin the UK’s national priorities, drive technological progress, and grow the economy. The programme is expected to deliver benefits across UK priorities with Advanced Materials highlighted in the Industrial Strategy1 as one of six frontier industries and materials underpinning other technological advances such as metamaterials for 6G communication or enhanced data centre efficiency.

    description
Chelmsford City Council (the Council), in the heart of Essex, has a legal duty to provide temporary accommodation (TA) to hundreds of residents in Chelmsford who have become homeless. With rising demand, Chelmsford City Council has decided to ensure that we can keep up with this demand and procure a fixed number of properties to be used when needed. This fixed term TA contract will complement the Council’s existing dynamic purchasing system (DPS) which was designed to facilitate the short-term ad-hoc purchase of TA. This Contract will operate in addition to the DPS and is intended to secure a TA supply stream at a fixed price for at least the next two years. After a two-stage competeitive tendering procedure, both Lots have now been awarded to more than one supplier.
