Miners’ Strike (Pardons) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill would pardon people who were convicted of crimes during the miners' strikes (industrial action by coal miners in the 1980s). If it passes, their criminal convictions would be cancelled and removed from their records. It aims to address what some see as unfair treatment of strike participants during that period.

Presented by Owen Thompson.
