Ministerial Code (Enforcement) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill aims to create a proper enforcement system for the Ministerial Code so that when ministers break the rules of conduct, there are automatic consequences. Currently, the Prime Minister decides what happens when a minister breaks the code, but this bill would create a more independent process to investigate and punish rulebreaking.

Presented by Owen Thompson.
