Universal Credit Sanctions (Zero Hours Contracts) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill aims to stop people on zero hours contracts from being 'sanctioned' (having their Universal Credit payments reduced or stopped) when they can't meet worksearch requirements due to their unpredictable, irregular working hours. It recognizes that zero hours workers face unique challenges because their employer doesn't guarantee them any set hours of work.

Presented by Chris Stephens.
