Coroners (Determination of Suicide) Bill [HL]

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill would change the legal test that coroners use when deciding whether to record a death as suicide. Currently, they need to be almost certain it was suicide. The bill would allow them to record it as suicide if they think it's more likely than not, based on the available evidence.

Presented by The Lord Bishop of St Albans.
