    description
The Workforce Development Programme will provide high-quality, specialist and bespoke training and support to enable youth practitioners, at all stages of their careers, to strengthen their expertise in supporting young people affected by violence and to develop their leadership skills as they progress professionally. The programme will be delivered through three integrated packages, designed to meet the varying needs, capacities, and career stages of practitioners across London’s youth sector: Package 1 offers a broad series of training, development, and networking opportunities. This responds directly to the need for flexibility and accessibility, particularly for parttime, freelance or youth workers who cannot commit to intensive programmes. It also provides opportunities for those new to the sector. These will be a mix of online and in person sessions and activities. Package 2 retains the core strengths of Rise Up by offering an intensive, cohort-based development programme. This preserves the unique aspects that made Rise Up impactful including leadership development, mentoring, its cohort model, and wellbeing support while targeting practitioners ready to step into senior roles. Evidence shows that supporting development at this level leads to wider organisational benefits, as participants influence teams, culture, and practice beyond their own roles. Package 3 is the Youth Practitioners’ Advisory Board (YPAB), offering continued leadership development and strategic influence for those who have completed Rise Up or the new Package 2. This ensures ongoing progression and maintains a pipeline of practitioner leaders able to shape VRU priorities.

    description
Derby City Council (the Council) is undertaking this procurement to establish a contract for fire risk assessment services. The procurement process adopted by the Council is based on the 'Open' tendering procedure as detailed in the Procurement Act 2023 (the "Act") and the Procurement Regulations 2024 (the "Regulations".) The initial contract period is two (2) years; the contract is estimated to commence on 1st October 2026 and expire on 30th September 2028. There will be an option to extend the contract for three (3) years in annual increments, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs. Maximum contract period is five (5) years. Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) is underway in several areas across the country and may result in changes to council structures, service delivery and responsibilities, and geographical coverage during the life of the contract. For this contract it is anticipated that the effects of LGR may lead to an increased service demand or the need to extend provision to new areas or client groups. Bidders should note that the total estimated contract value of £768,000, comprises of two components: i) The core contract value, estimated at £192,000, based on known current service requirements ii) An additional estimated value of £576,000 to reflect potential future changes in service scope or volume linked to LGR. These figures are estimations and due to only being in the early stages of the process the Authority cannot give any commitment on these figures but would like to build scope into the Contract should the need arise.

The provider must demonstrate a strong understanding of the needs and experiences of children in custodial environments, and be responsive to staffing structures, roles, and capability needs within Youth Justice settings and the custodial environment specifically. The Contract length will be six years and four months (a four month implementation period, five years of enrolments and a teach out period of one year) of accredited vocational training in trauma informed practice in Youth Justice, including both theory and effective practice (as outlined in the YJ Skills Matrix) to all frontline officers in the YCS in order to support the specialisation of the workforce. Any learner extensions beyond the agreed duration should be discussed and approved by the Authority and will be provided at no additional cost per learner. The programme must be accessible across all three YOI sites in England (Yorkshire, Midlands and London) with flexibility to deliver face-to-face elements. Each cohort will consist of learners across all three sites; each face-to-face session will be located within 90 minutes travel time of one of these sites. The venue will then rotate between the three sites for each cohort. e.g. session one within 90 minutes of Feltham, session two within 90 minutes of Werrington and session three within 90 minutes of Wetherby.

    description
It is proposed that a comprehensive phased strategy combining both temporary and permanent camera locations to deliver immediate safety enhancements while minimising unnecessary expenditure. The approach encompasses the deployment of a selection of temporary and permanent camera units, the installation of two new CCTV columns, and the installation of two external communications cabinets. Permanent equipment will be positioned in areas where site layout is confirmed, while temporary placements are designated for high risk zones (e.g., hoardings) pending finalisation of AfA/ticket office plans and be relocated as required. Furthermore, it is anticipated that the Marlowe cameras will remain operational until the definitive station configuration is established and the overall CCTV design is refined. This ensures that the coverage and functionality currently provided by the Marlowe cameras will be maintained through the strategic placement of new camera units, as temporary positions at the hoardings do not offer adequate surveillance to fully replace the Marlowe system. This option uses completed ES5 designs, IDC/IDR signoff, AFC drawings and a full bill of materials. description
The Data Sharing Infrastructure (DSI) is a socio-technical solution that makes it easier for the energy sector to share data and models in a scalable, secure, and resilient way by bringing together common processes, governance, and technology. NESO has been appointed as the Interim DSI Coordinator for this activity. Phase 1 of this activity has involved establishing a collaboration with energy sector partners to develop and test an MVP version of DSI. Phase 2 of the activity will involve the public launch of DSI which will require further development of the governance process and the legal terms and conditions for participation.
